After the break of World War Two,according to problems exposed in battle,the German army requested to develop a type of tank to assist the infantry assaulting.Code vk 18.01,that’s the regin background of 1 Ausf F(Pz.Kpfw I Ausf F).
This type is the last modification of 1F,got huge difference compares with regional ones.Fortification has become the most priority consideration.Their weights reached 21 tons,the front armour as thick as 88mm.But all the acquisition at the cost of lower speed ,weaker force, were created for support infantry’s action or guerrilla,there are totally 30 were constructed,most of them belong to improved late type.

二战爆发后，德军根据实战中暴露的问题，要求开发一款主要用于协助步兵突击的坦克，代号VK18.01，这就是I号F型坦克（Pz.Kpfw I Ausf F）诞生的由来。该型坦克是I号坦克系列的最后一种改型，和最初的I号坦克相比已经发生了巨大的变化，防护成为最优先考虑的问题，重量达到了21吨，正面装甲达80mm厚，相应的代价是速度缓慢，火力薄弱，适用于配合步兵行动或对抗游击队。I号F型坦克生产了30辆，大部分都属于经过改进的后期型号。
